Welcome

This is the blog, of three Academic English 10 students. While working on an Inquiry Project, we were given the Psychological Aspects of of Humor. These posts are the research and major points we found, along the way. We have decided to publish them in a blog, to let all of the classes, and more to see our findings at any point of time.

Much regards-

Various Degrees of Humor, in your state of mind.

Degrees of humor cannot be measured in one mean. If you are raised differently then your friends, you may find different things funny, compared to what they think. If you know the subject, the humor is based off of, then you might find it humorous on a different level then the other people, who aren't as familiar to the topic. When you are more involved with the idea of the joke, you will get different meanings, then others. For example, some people, who work with a handicapped person, might not take a joke, about said illness.
My topics I want to discuss, shall be introduced, in later posts.

  1. Very true. I know a lot of people don't find what I think is funny to be funny. Also though along with that thought, some things are funny to some and not to others because of how they were raised but also because of 'inside jokes'. I know we have our inside jokes that no one else understands and I have them with my family that no one outside the family gets. I think that's all normal!
